Job Type: Full-time | Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (Evenings as needed)

Position Summary

The Rough Electrical Crew Member works independently or as part of a team to install and inspect electrical components used in residential home construction. This role ensures electrical systems are installed accurately, safely, and in compliance with applicable codes while identifying and correcting electrical or safety concerns during the rough electrical phase of production.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install electrical components within a controlled, climate-controlled manufacturing environment

  • Identify required materials using purchase orders and work documentation

  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements

  • Locate correct products and verify quantities prior to installation

  • Maintain inventory, tools, and electrical supplies in an organized manner

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas

  • Perform work safely and follow all safety policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Maintain positive and professional working relationships to support a cooperative team environment

  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, blueprints, floor plans, and work orders

  • Proficient knowledge of electrical materials, industry standards, and electrical codes

  • Strict attention to detail and order accuracy

  • Ability to use manual and power tools appropriately and safely

  • Ability to perform overhead electrical work for extended periods

  • Ability to use mathematics and measuring devices to calculate dimensions

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Ability to consistently lift up to 80 pounds

  • Valid driver’s license

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts

  • Moderate noise levels in manufacturing and production areas

  • Use of safety glasses required; hearing protection may be required in designated areas

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 80 pounds

  • Prolonged standing and walking throughout the workday

  • Ability to perform physically demanding labor in a climate-controlled environment

  • Requires strong manual dexterity, multi-limb coordination, and stamina

  • Ability to move arms and legs quickly and perform repetitive physical tasks without fatigue


Schedule

  • Full-time position

  • Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • Evening work may be required based on production needs

  • Travel is not expected for this position
